Hi all This is my first article for Impressions in 17 years which I have to say is somewhat of a disgrace, so let’s try and make up for it now with some Imp Twenty Ten information. Some of you have already made contact with us via the Imp 2010 web site, (Thanks to Andy Smith for continuing to do a great job with it) please continue to contact us and we will do everything we can to answer your questions. If we can’t answer your question straight away, it will be because the answer is due in a copy of Impressions on your door step soon. This leads me nicely onto the reason for this dispatch, the theme and entertainment for the event. The theme for the event has been batted about for the past twelve months or so. We knew what we wanted to do; it was just a matter of pulling all the elements together. We wanted something that would fit with the area you will be visiting, something that was good for people like me who don’t think about their fancy dress until about half an hour after the event has started, and some fun for the great many of you out there with fantastic imaginations and will take the idea and run off onto a whole new unexpected tangent. Therefore Ladies and Gentlemen we are having a Scrumping Wild West theme. For your dancing pleasure we have booked a band The Trailer Trash Orchestra, who play both kinds of music!!! COUNTRY and WESTERN!!!!! That’s not quite accurate; think more Hayseed Dixie or The Bad Sheppard’s, so be prepared for a right good Hoe down sat night. Please note!!! All hoes, due to health and safety reasons will have to be made out of a soft rubber. If you are more used to American slang terms then I apologise about the confusion. Please look up the correct use of the word Hoe. Preparations are moving along nicely for the event. Please watch this space for further information as we lead up to the event and coming soon your pre booking form. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this Timo Rumary & The Imp Twenty Ten Team Take care Y'all !

First of all, we at Somerset area centre together with our friends at Bath& Bristol centre would like to say what a fantastic event Impulse 09 was, Graham and his team were amazing so to be honest we have a huge act to follow with the national at Bridgwater. At Reading many of you would have heard Timo Rumery and myself invite you all to Somerset next year, unfortunately our original venue proved to a let down, let me explain. After the success of Reading we knew that room at our selected location would be tight so we asked the owners for more area, guess what, they took some away from us, now do they want to make money or what, so the hunt was on for another venue/site we could use, this has presented itself to us in the form of B.I.B.I.C which the initials stand for the British Institute for Brain Injured Children which is a local charity situated just outside of Bridgwater, it consists of a very large house in 11.5 acres of gorgeous Somerset land, (www.bibic.org.uk). Timo contacted the organization to see if we could use this area and it just so happened that the young lady we had to deal with was taught to drive by yours truly a few years ago, so we thought that's a good omen and have now gone ahead and booked the BIBIC center grounds for the "Imptwentyten" national, dates for your diary are from Thursday the 5th to Sunday the 8th August 2010 ,location , Knowle Hall, Puriton , Bridgwater, just of junction 23 (M5). We have had several meeting so far and now recruited Andy Smith from Gloucestershire who was only to willing to build, design our website for the National (www.imptwentyten.co.uk), the site is now up and running so please check it out for further information. Graham Anderson has been to visit the new venue area and has given his approval, we will keep you all up to date in Impressions and on the website. Peter Crook and Timo Rumery
